AN EXCELLENT REPRODUCTION of the early rubber door hinge screw hole plugs!
If you're restoring an early Bus, you've probably found most every part is completely different than later cars. The problem is that most places only sell the later parts since they'll fit early cars so that's good enough for them. Personally, however, on our 50's VWs, we're sticklers for correctness as much as possible. One part that often is wrong is the plugs for the door hinge screw holes. Starting in 1963, these were plastic but before that they were rubber so we're proud to offer this nice reproduction of the early style plugs. And on top of that, unlike most places that only sell these per door, we package them as a set of 4 so you get enough to do both doors!
