    Description

    Two wooden trophy base/parts from authentic 1960's trophies, from a local estate.  The metal plates have been removed.  These were likely car racing related trophies.  They have great atomic mid-century modern type designs.  One has the original Eddie Retchins Trophy World Florida label.
    One has the base, and the other one stands, but will definitely need a wooden base added.  These would be great for crafts projects, or for mid-century modern collectors who might want to make lamps or rework them as trophies.
    There is some wear, but overall really attractive wood.  I just wiped it down, but you will want to oil it.  I left them as they are.  There is some glue tape where the old metal plates were - easy to remove.
    Look at the last photo.  This is the trophy without the base.  Just wanted you to know it is shown in the photos upside down because it was easy to stand it up on its top!
