Small tiaras, ideal for dress-up, kids' party favors, theatre, daycare, collectors, costumes, etc.
Sold by For a Day Foundation, a charity for children with cancer. We typically host themed parties in hospital playrooms, like Queen for a Day, where we'd give away tiaras like these to the patients. However, we expect new Covid parameters to limit the type of items we can bring if/when programs like ours can resume. We are liquidating our supply to prepare for new parameters. Tiaras have been donated to us in a wide range of conditions.
I have dozens of items listed in multiple posts, and I've tried to capture as much of each piece as I can, without losing my mind.
When prepping for a hospital visit, crowns are cleaned by soaking in Woolite and being scrubbed with a brush. Then wiped down with a disinfectant wipe. You can use this same protocol for cleaning your stash, to remove as much tarnish as possible. Tarnish cleaners can cloud the glass stones and glass cleaner can further affect the metal finish (hence, the Woolite soak).
Most items have some degree of tarnish, mostly on the front and back of the band.
Most have all their stones. Anything notable beyond that is listed below.
Conditions/details for each style:
Style A: Has metal combs.
Style B: Has Metal combs. The small curved tail on the right side (left side of photo) is slightly detached from the headband. Can be fixed with glue. Small rust spot on front (the orange spot)
Style C: No combs.
Style D: No combs.
Style E: Missing small bar of stones on left side (right side of photo). Also, a spot is slightly detached from headband. No combs.
Style F: plastic combs.
Style G: Metal combs.
Style H: No combs.
Style I: Plastic combs
Style J: Metal combs.
Style K: Metal combs.
Style L: Metal combs; Light green stones.
Style M: Missing a small marquis stone. Purple stones. Metal combs.
Style N: Dark purple stones. "Princess." Missing two purple round stones on the side.
Style O: Missing a clear rhinestone in the front and a blue stone on the side. Crusty tarnish on the back.
Style P: Dark purple stones. "Princess." Purple design is detached from headband on one side.
Style Q: small marquis jewels on the side are clear, not AB like the larger marquis jewels.
Style R: Rabbit with pink scarf. Plastic combs.
Style S: Music note in black stones.
Style T: nothing to note.
Style U: no combs (adjustable band)
Style V: Round crown. Good structure. No missing stones. Little to no tarnish.
Style W: One blue stone missing in a side flower. Metal combs, a little bent. Tarnish.
Style X: No missing stones. little to no tarnish. plastic combs also in good shape.
Style Y: A few cloudy stones.
Style Z: No missing stones. Little to no tarnish. Plastic combs in good shape.
I try to pack them as delicately as possible. However, these tiaras are old and/or delicate, so some stones may come loose. I do the best I can without resulting in exorbitant size/weight additions to shipping fees.
