    Description

    This hand-signed letter by Henry Heimlich (d. 2016) on letterhead stationery describes his motivation to become a pioneer in innovative medical treatments.  Interestingly, he expresses concern over the use of CPR instead of the Heimlich Maneuver to save drowning victims.  He said he was "tormented" by the act that children are dying needlessly.
