The cotton is virgin and the chemicals used in weaving contain no toxic substances. The bags are measured pre-sewn. T may be a variance of up to 1/8 to 1/4 inch due sizing / natural shrinkage. Please allow a little extra room for cinching and expansion. Great for all-purpose packaging: crafts, soap, herbs, teas, gifts, wedding favors, holiday decoration gift bags, packaged treats, parts bags. You Name It! These are great for culinary use herb /spice bags... but as they are made in a factory they should be washed / sanitized before use direct food contact. Natural medium weave cotton will shrink when washed. Reusable hint: wash separately or strings will tangle. If used for treat bags best if treats pre-wrapped.
