    Description

    Canopus Advanced DV Converter ADVC-55. Also marketed under the brand names Grass Valley and Thomson. Converts between analog video and DV using IEEE1394 (Firewire). Unit has been tested for power and also the video signal and capture capabilities. It is working perfectly. DC power cable not included, but it is generally bus-powered via the Firewire connection. Also works with a computer with a Firewire 800 connection using a Firewire 400 to 800 adapter cable. Supports NTSC and PAL/SECAM. Can be set for both 0 and 7.5 IRE. Has connections for S-video, composite video, and stereo audio. Part of original packaging included.
